Valentines Day is fast approaching and since several of our children and grandchildren don’t live near, I need to get their Valentines in the mail. One of the things that I like to do is to make that box they open special. I could just put in cards and a lot of chocolates and candy but, taking that extra time to make each item look like a treasure let’s them know how much I care. These are a few of the items that I put in their packages. So, instead of getting this big chocolate bar in a the box ……
They get this………………
To do this I just used tissue paper and first folded it multiple times in half and cut a heart border. Then wrap it around the bar leaving an extra three inches on each side.
For these gummy lollipops adding a bow makes them look special.
Sweetheart message candies and Hershey Kisses in a clear cellophane bag get an upgrade with more ribbons.
Adding a little ribbon to the tea towels makes them even more pretty.
So with just a few extra minutes of making the Valentines Day package seem special my Kiddo’s and Grand-babies will know how much we care and miss them. I hope they like them.
I want to thank the Paper Mart for providing all the beautiful ribbon and wrapping paper that I used in this post.
